AMP 10 cleverly combines very high power output and high channel count to create a master reference-level amplifier for ultimate home theatre performance. Separate power supplies for line level and high power stages ensure total signal purity from input to output. Custom Class D output creates no compromise power.

Marantz design is timelessly elegant— an expression of the musical soundscapes the products create. The center mounted and softly lit analogue level meter is meticulously detailed like a fine timepiece. It is both functional and a fitting homage to early Marantz pieces. While substantial in stature, AMP 10 is elegantly constructed with steel and aluminum casework and knobs. The subtle texture molded into the front panel is lit by the dimmable soft glow of sidelights on either side of the control surface.

Your cinema is an integral part of your home. Therefore, Marantz has provided a rich assortment of connections and configuration options to make AMP 10 your ideal amplifier. While each of the 16 channels can operate independently, channel pairs can also be switched into bi-amp mode for isolating frequency bands from each other or switched into BTL mode to produce up to 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms for your highest output demands.

AMP 10 defies the common logic that one cannot have high power and high channel count in a single enclosure. Through years of development, Marantz has engineered a 16 channel 200-watt per-channel amplifier that performs at extraordinarily high levels with no loss in fidelity. Custom Class D amplification is highly efficient, and strategically incorporated whisper-quiet fans keep the unit running optimally even under highly dynamic conditions.

Gold plated RCA and high-grade XLR connectors accept audio input from most surround processors. Custom Marantz SPK 1+ binding posts are ergonomic and provide the best possible coupling to loudspeaker cables. Low-distortion, high-power output provides ample drive to virtually any loudspeaker configuration to maximize performance in any room.

Using an included cable, control and status information from AMP 10 can be transmitted to AV 10 making network control and automation simple. Further, RS232 and DC trigger inputs are available to make automating AMP 10 with a home control system possible.
