Ai lati sinistro e destro dello schermo sono posizionati due altoparlanti verticali. Il modello CT8 LR è dotato di una testina sferica per medi e alti che può essere inclinata verso l’ascoltatore per garantire una riproduzione focalizzata, oltre a due unità per i bassi da 10”, come nell’altoparlante surround.

Per la gamma Custom Theatre abbiamo portato a un livello superiore lo sviluppo del nostro tweeter a tubo derivato dal Nautilus™. Seguendo lo stesso principio della nostra versione del tubo per i medi (vedi a fianco), abbiamo sostituito il singolo tubo lungo con un vortice di canali più piccoli e fitti contenuti in una coppa poco profonda, ognuno dei quali assorbe una porzione dell’energia sonora indesiderata proveniente dal retro del diaframma. Anche a frequenze ben oltre la soglia uditiva umana, questo tweeter canta come un uccellino.
