Subwoofer

Parte integrante dell’approccio senza compromessi del sistema alla gestione dei bassi è il subwoofer, qui illustrato con una coppia posizionata all’estrema sinistra e all’estrema destra per frequenze basse che spingeranno i limiti del vostro suono al massimo. Il CT8 SW è dotato di un driver da 15". Come tutti i driver per bassi della gamma, presenta un cono rigido a sandwich in materiale composito.

Come potete immaginare, uno dei segreti per sviluppare un driver per bassi ad alte prestazioni consiste nel trovare un materiale per il cono sufficientemente resistente da mantenere la propria forma anche sotto le sollecitazioni più intense, ma non troppo pesante da comprometterne la reattività. La nostra scelta ricade su una moderna struttura a sandwich in fibra di carbonio e schiuma rigida, utilizzata nelle carrozzerie di automobili e velivoli. Le sue eccezionali proprietà meccaniche e la massa relativamente ridotta lo rendono perfetto per trasformare gli effetti delle basse frequenze in un suono realistico.
